Rick May was a Special Education Teacher who noticed there was a lack of summer programs for teens and adult individuals with Special Needs and he had a solution.....

Rick May’s All Star Camp was founded in 1993 with the vision of helping those with Special Needs have something fun to do for the summer while continuing a semi-structured educational base. At that time there was no organized camps for that age group. 

He staffed his camp with Special Education Teachers, both current and retired, as well as Paraprofessionals from Special Education Programs. 

Rick made sure the campers went of field trips, had art, dance, exercise, guests, worked on socialization, education and of course....fun.

In that spirit, we continue his camp with the same goals, experienced staff and of course.....fun!

All Star Camp is a licensed 501(c)(3) organization
